Call for entries, Pixelstorm-Award 2008
As every year, it is our most singular pleasure to announce the International Pixelstorm Award. A most exclusive circle of internationally selected designers, artists and trendsetters have been invited to participate, you are among them.
+ Theme of the competition: Heart Beat
After a short check, the submissions are published online. We only allow submissions that are actually referring to the theme. We exclude inappropriate submissions from the platform, e.g. online-portfolios or advertising.
+ Form: Works in any digital format and from any field of art can be entered (computer animation, digital sound, interaction, digital textile design, electronic sound, virtual sculpture, pixelpainting, online-games, hyperpoetry, digital photography, net-art).
The submission has to be presentable on the web. File size must not exceed 3 Megabytes. A JPEG or GIF preview-image has to be included with each submission, for online-representation purposes. Please do not submit JPEG-images in CMYK color-mode.
+ Exhibits: Entries will be presented on the platform www.pixelstorm-award.ch
+ Conditions: Starting from Monday, March 31st, 9AM (CET), entries can be uploaded on the platform www.pixelstorm-award.ch
Deadline for entries is Apr 22nd 2008, 24:00 (CET). The organisers themselves are allowed to participate, however they can only run for the audience-award.
+ Prices: The golden pixel goes to the best and beautyfullest entry. The community will vote for the audience-award. The very first uploaded entry will win a special prize.
