Trees by Jeffrey Ventrella:

Branchy Branch
The beauty of fractal recursion emerges from natural processes, and it is not necessary to use a mathematical function or a highly-structured process. Witness the growing branch structures of Branchy Branch. As the structure grows, live "buds" form new branches. Self-avoidance keeps the structure in a very breathable state.

I am a fractal artist and explorer of virtual worlds and artificial life. The sight of a bare tree against a cloudy winter sky is beautiful because it stimulates my mathematical mind. The interest in algorithmic art lead me to the MIT Media Lab, Silicon Valley, and an ever-evolving career exploring ... etc. etc.
